Your support and contributions will enable us to help our friends send their children to get good quality education that teaches them to learn in English. This is the best direction for them to have a future that is not limited.
Their daughter, Boshi, has just started attending a local Montessori School and she is thriving there. Her mother is able to work at the same school so the tuition is cut in half for this child. That is a blessing but the other tuition is approximately $50 USD a month.
The school that is being considered for their oldest child, Ravanaka "Buddy", who is ready for first grade, offers a great opportunity for various classes and follows the Cambridge Curriculum in teaching all classes in English. You can learn more about that curriculum here https://www.cambridgeinternational.org/why-choose-us/benefits-of-a-cambridge-education/international-curriculum/
The school offers Math, Science, History, Reading, Language Arts, Art, Swimming, computer literacy and many other extra curricular activities to stimulate young minds.
All donations will be going toward the following expenses for his schooling:
----paying for the school registration and fees-
Approx. $750 USD
----uniforms and book fees
Approx. $200 USD
----paying for semester fees
Approx. $400 USD per semester
----paying for gas for their vehicle to get the children to and from school.
Please pray that all the doors needed to opened will be opened and the steps are able to be completed by the time needed for classes to begin for next semester.
Thank you for your willingness to help in this mighty mission. Together we can change the lives of this family and show them that they are not alone and we see them in their struggle and want to help to educate their children.
Education is the key to avoiding a life of poverty.

This vehicle was gifted to this family by generous donors who saw a need and came together to meet that need. This act of generosity and love has been a transformative gift. This vehicle has allowed the family to go to church together, drive to school, medical appointments, and to get food from the local town.
Thanks to your generous donations, this family now has a safe, clean, leak proof house with indoor plumbing. This family is working diligently in their community to help others and give back because they have felt the generosity of others, they are branching out to help their neighbors in need. Their next goal is to help other children in their village to be able to get to school.

Seven years ago, Darshika's father started building this house as part of her dowry. However, illness and a subsequent heart attack stopped the work, and today in 2020 it is still only a shell of the home he intended for his only daughter and her family. Instead, the family lives in a home with a 30 year old wooden roof that leaks, with no indoor bathroom, or kitchen. Sadly, her father died 3 years ago.
Darshika and Harsha have worked so hard to clear all the plant material, jungle vines, and six year's worth of growth because we have faith. Your donation today can help their dream become a reality. We have faith that God will provide a roof, just like he helped them rebuild their small shop to aid their community with food and supplies. See how that happened below.
The original shop was in disrepair after a number of years of being dormant after the death of my friend, Darshika's father. With help from a small group of donors, and a good business plan from Darshika and her husband, Harsha work was underway to create a lovely shop that would service their community with all the necessary daily needs for cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
After a month of work, day and night, from Darshika and Harsha, their dream of having a shop that could help their family support themselves, became a reality. On July 15, 2020, amid COVID-19, people from the other side of the world helped to change the trajectory of a family. Strangers became friends and rallied behind others for the sake of building a community of HOPE!
By the end of the month, the shop was servicing an entire community as the next closest shop is over 5 kilometers away and the major town is 25 minutes away. With generous support the shop gained electricity, a digital scale, a refrigerator, dry goods, a small freezer for meat, and all the other things a community would need for day to

The pride for her shop is evident in Darshika's smile.
